very fucking tired of female characters having to be younger and smaller than their male counterparts

also very fucking tired of female space marines, warriors, and knights having no muscles whatsoever compared to their ripped, beefy male counterparts.

also very fucking tired of female characters being introduced as qualified professionals but never get a chance to show their abilities

also very fucking tired of female characters who are taller, bigger, bulkier, etc. not being considered attractive

fatigued at the young, inexperienced white male protagonist one-upping the ‘uptight but hot’ female at something she’s apparently trained at for years

There's a frame during the scene where Keith sees his parents with him on the bed, and it looks like there's a fireman's jacket on one of the bedposts. If Keith's father was a firefighter, it would explain why he had no hesitation in breaking open Krolia's ship with a hatchet. He's dedicated himself to saving others, no matter who that might be. (I don't have many followers, so I thought I'd share the theory with you to get it out there.)

oh my gosh!! theory accepted. god these scenes hurt so much. imagine being this dude… living out in a shack in the desert, doing the daily grind, and then one day you find this perfect, beautiful person to take care of and build a life with and you have this perfect, beautiful child and man… their family gets separated but he was probably so hopeful he and keith would get to see her again one day. keith looks like he’s at least 10 when his dad died and that’s agonizing. that’s old enough to remember what you’ve lost and it’s physically painful to think about.

i’m sure that kihyun ryu drew krolia in the scene where she sees keith standing in the graveyard and i truly can’t imagine how much it hurt to learn her lover was dead and that her son grew up alone. it was so well done. it still hits like a punch when i think about it.
